Instead, this procedure is completed with a hand-held device, similar to a scalpel. Instead of a single blade, this tool boasts a collection of 10 to 16 tiny fine blades. By applying pressure to the instrument, the technician creates a small incision and pigment is deposited into the skin. Once healed the results replicate natural hair patterns and are almost undetectable to the untrained eye. The results from micro-blading last anywhere from 8 months up to 16 months. A touch-up is required between 4-6 weeks for best results and longevity. Clients can also schedule a touch-up around 6 months to stretch the lifetime of the brows.
